Account alerts give you peace of mind!

Keeping tabs on your Centra accounts is easy with account alerts! Get notified by email, push notifications, or text messages for specific actions without the hassle of constantly reviewing your account. Several types of notifications are available.
Account alert categories
When you first navigate to ‘Alerts’ under the ‘Account Services’ menu, you’ll see a few categories listed. Some categories have just one alert type while others have several options.
General alerts
General alerts are default security alerts and other notifications that may be triggered by important events. These alerts are always on for Centra Members.
Account alerts
The accounts category has tons of alerts available, and you can set them based on the specific account. Once you’ve selected the account you want alerts for, you’ll have several options, including:
- Automatic deposits and withdrawals
- Balance information
- Purchases and checks
- Transactions
- Payment due dates
Authentication alert
This alert will notify you of any successful logins to your digital banking profile.
Card alerts
When you select card alerts, you’ll be taken to the ‘Card Management’ section of Centra’s digital banking. This is where you can block and unblock your card and access other controls. You’ll also find that several alerts are available to help you manage your cards:
- Location-based alerts
- Transaction amount alerts
- Transaction types
- Merchant types
Mobile deposit alert
This alert will notify you whenever a mobile deposit is completed. Please note that you’ll receive an email when your mobile deposit is approved or rejected.

Getting started
To manage your account alerts:
- Choose ‘Alerts’ under the ‘Account Services’ menu. If you’re using Centra Mobile, tap the ‘More’ menu option to get to Account Services.
- Select which category you’d like to set up an alert for.
- For account alerts, pick which account you want to set alerts for from the dropdown menu.
- Toggle the switch to turn alerts on or off. Some alert types have additional options to customize.
Enabling text alerts
To receive alerts by text message, you need to ensure your mobile phone number is up-to-date and enabled to receive SMS text messages. Follow these steps to check your mobile phone information:
- Choose ‘Update Contact Info’ under the ‘Settings’ menu.
- If you’re using Centra Mobile, you may need to select ‘Contact’ next.
- Edit or expand the mobile phone number.
- Confirm your mobile phone number is up to date.
- Enable SMS text messages for your number!
- Verify your number using the verification code(s) sent to your device. Please know that Centra will never call you to ask for this code.
