Opening your Membership Savings establishes you as a Centra Credit Union Member. That means you’re a part-owner of the credit union!

Your savings account is more than just a place to store your extra pennies. It’s a path to achieving your personal financial goals and dreams.

With your account, you’ll have:

• Ability to open a Centra cuenta corriente
• Ability to apply for loans
• Ability to apply for a credit card

The required deposit for opening a Membership Savings account is $5. There’s a $2 monthly service charge for printed statements per Membership Savings account. The printed statement service charge is waived for accounts for which the primary Member, or tax-reported owner, is age 65 or older and for special titled accounts. Special titled accounts include trusts, estates, For-Benefit-Of, guardianships, UTMA, and IDA.

*Early access to money from a direct deposit depends on when the payer submits the payment file. Centra generally makes your direct deposit available on the day the payment file is received, which may be one day earlier than the scheduled payment date.
